I love these. A lot.


1 cup flour
0.5 tsp salt
0.5 cup milk, room temperature
2 eggs
0.5 cup water


Preheat over to 400 degrees F.

Sift flour and salt into a bowl. Make a well in the centre and pour in the milk in the middle. Stir.

Beat eggs until fluffy and beat them into batter. Add water.

Beat batter well until it bubbles. Have ready a hot oven proof dish or hot muffins tins containing about 0.25" of melted butter.

Pour in batter leaving room at the top of muffin tin for expansion.

Bake about 20 minutes. Reuce heat to 250 degrees F. Bake about ten minutes more watching them closely!
