Quick chicken dish for a work/school night.
Serve with rice or a simple pasta with garlic/olive oil and some fresh tomatoes on the side. Done!
|6-8 boneless skinless chicken thights|
|3 tbsp||brown sugar|
|1 tsp||garlic powder|
|1 tsp||montreal spice for chicken|
|1/2 tsp||onion powder|
|1/2 tsp||olive oil|
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix dry ingredients together in a shallow pan.
Rinse chicken and then dreg though the dry rub, ensuring that the entire surface of the chicken is covered. Set on a clean plate.
Once all the chicken is coated in the dry rub, heat up frying pan to high heat. Drizzle a very small amount of oil in the pan.
Place the chicken in the pan and reduce heat only slightly.
Cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side, searing in the flavours.
Once both sides have been cooked, transfer to baking dish and cook in oven approximately 20 minutes more until cooked through.
Serve as above.
