This deliciously simple Waldorf Salad is a healthy companion to any meal. Try turning this side salad into a meal by adding Maple leaf Prime™ Cooked and Seasoned Chicken Breast Strips for some added protein.


1 Small Red Delicious apple, cored and coarsely chopped
.33 cup (75 mL) Halved red seedless grapes
.33 cup (75 mL) Halved green seedless grapes
.25 cup (50 mL) Coarsely diced celery
2 tbsp (30 mL) Chopped walnuts
.25 cup (50 mL) Poppy seed dressing


COMBINE all ingredients in a bowl and serve immediately.
