Rich and sinfully delicious these brownies won’t last long on the dessert table!
|1||package Schneiders® Bacon, diced|
|1||498gr box brownie mix|
|1 cup||prepared caramel sauce, warmed|
|1 cup||mixed nuts, optional|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray a 9 x 9 glass pan.
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook bacon until browned and just starting to crisp. Remove onto a paper towel lined plate and set aside. Reserve rendered bacon drippings to a measuring cup.
Prepare brownie mixture per package direction omitting oil and replacing with reserved bacon drippings. Stir in half the cooked bacon and nuts if using and pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow to cool.
Cut into 16 squares and drizzle with warmed caramel and garnish with remaining bacon.
