Technically this is rutabaga not turnip, but it is a winter favourite at our house and we call it turnip mash so....house rules. It was delicious alongside Maple Leaf Prime mushroom and rice stuffed chicken.


1 Rutabaga peeled and diced (1 inch cubes)
1/2 cup mayonaise
1 tbsp steak spice seasoning


In a large pot of water boil the cubes of rutabaga until tender (45-60 min). Add water if it gets too low. Drain water. add mayonnaise and steak spice. Blend with an immersion blender until desired smoothness is reached.
