|1 Pkg||(454 g) Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Extra Lean Ground Turkey|
|1 Pkg||Dry taco seasoning|
|1 Pkg||Ready prepared pizza dough|
|1 cup||(250 mL) Salsa|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Grated Cheddar cheese|
|1/2||Yellow pepper, sliced|
|1/2||Onion, thinly sliced|
|3||Green onions, sliced|
HEAT oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey and cook, breaking up with the back of a wooden spoon, for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Stir in taco seasoning.
PREHEAT oven to 400°F (200°C).
DIVIDE pizza dough into two balls. Roll out each dough ball, using a lightly flour dusted rolling pin, to a 10x14” (25x35 cm) rectangle and place each on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
ASSEMBLE pizzas by spreading ½ cup (125 mL) of salsa over each crust. Top with turkey, cheese, peppers, sliced onion and green onion. Bake in preheated oven for 15-17 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
