|1 Pkg||(8oz/250g) cream cheese, softened|
|1 cup||(250 mL) Sour cream|
|3/4 cup||(175 mL) Whipped salad dressing or mayonnaise|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Olive oil|
|1 Pkg||(454 g) Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Extra Lean Ground Turkey|
|1 Pkg||(35 g) taco seasoning|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Grated Cheddar cheese|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Shredded lettuce|
|1/2||Small red onion, diced|
|1||Yellow pepper, diced|
BEAT cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise together in a small bowl until smooth. Spread mixture on a 12” (30 cm) pizza pan or serving platter. Refrigerate for one hour.
HEAT olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add turkey and cook, stirring occasionally for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crumbly. Add taco seasoning and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Cool completely. Just before you are ready to serve, spread the seasoned turkey mixture over cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and peppers over top. Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
