Turkey sausage in the omelette makes this sandwich a lean protein sandwich that is delicious and healthy.
|2||slices of whole grain bread|
|2||ready to eat turkey sausage, small, sliced|
|4||cherry tomatoes, halved|
|1||iceburg lettuce leaf|
Whisk egg and add sliced sausage in. Heat fry pan with oil until hot and pour in the egg mixture. Cook on medium high for 3 minutes until golden brown and jiggly on top. Flip over and cook for another 2 minutes.
Spread 1 tbsp. of butter onto each slice of bread. Place lettuce on bottom followed with tomato halves and then the omelette, fold over to fit bread. Place other slice of bread on top and cut in half.
