Stir fry with turkey, apple and cabbage.
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Vegetable oil|
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf® Prime Naturally Turkey Scaloppini, cut into strips|
|3||Cloves garlic, minced|
|3||Small apples, cored and sliced into wedges|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Napa cabbage|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Apple cider vinegar|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) Apple juice|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Dijon mustard|
|1/2 tsp||(2 mL) Dried thyme|
|Salt and pepper|
|Pinch caraway seeds|
HEAT oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey and cook for 6-7 minutes, stirring until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
ADD onion and garlic to the same pan. Cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes. Add apples, cabbage, cider vinegar, apple juice, Dijon and thyme. Stir to combine. Cook until cabbage wilts. Return turkey to the pan and toss to coat with pan juices. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with caraway seeds and serve immediately.
Garnish with fresh herbs.
