A quick and easy traditional dessert that is sure to please everyone.

Ingredients

5 cups tart apples (thinly sliced)
1 cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
.75 cup flour
.75 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1 tsp cinnamon
.5 cup butter or margerine
dash of nutmeg

Directions

Thinly slice apples and place in a 1.5 quart dish.
Combine dry ingredients and cut in butter till crumbly.
Press mixture over apples.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
