A quick and easy traditional dessert that is sure to please everyone.
|5 cups||tart apples (thinly sliced)|
|1 cup||brown sugar (lightly packed)|
|.75 cup||quick cooking rolled oats|
|.5 cup||butter or margerine|
|dash of nutmeg|
Thinly slice apples and place in a 1.5 quart dish.
Combine dry ingredients and cut in butter till crumbly.
Press mixture over apples.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
