This traditional deli favourite is easy to make for lunch or a light dinner!


8 Slices DEMPSTER’S® WholeGrains™ Multigrain/ BON MATIN® Multigrain Bread
400 g Roast beef, thinly sliced
60 ml Barbecue sauce
2 Tomatoes, sliced
4 Slices Part-skim Havarti or Swiss cheese
50 ml Pickles, sliced (optional)


PREHEAT oven to 350° F (180° C).

TOP 4 slices of bread with roast beef and lightly brush on barbecue sauce. Add tomato slices, cheese and pickles if using.

CLOSE sandwiches with remaining bread. Place on baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Serve hot.

FOR A CHANGE: For a change, replace BBQ sauce with Dijon mustard.
