About this Recipe

Pork marinated and cooked with this spicy sauce is so yummy and flavorful and tender, it just melts in your mouth. Its a different compared to the traditional pulled pork recipe. You have to give it a try, at least once.

Ingredients

1/4 lb Pork Roast
1 tbsp Minced Gralic
1 tbsp Minced Ginger
1/2 tsp Chilly Powder or Cayenne Powder
1/4 tsp Clove Powder
1/4 tsp Cinnamon Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
4 tbsp Barbecue Sauce
2 Onions cut into rings
6 Mushrooms sliced
Salt to taste

Directions

Instructions

In a bowl mix together all the spices and just 2 tbsp of Barbecue sauce. Marinate the pork with this mixture and refrigerate overnight.

Cook Pork until nice and tender. I used a pressure cooker and cooked it for 30 minutes on medium heat. Then simmered it for another 20 minutes. Shred the pork with a fork and add the remaining 2 tbsp Barbecue sauce. Mix well. You can always add more sauce if you like.

While the pork is cooking fry the onion rings and mushroom until nice and brown.

Spoon the cooked pork on a toasted bun and top with onion and mushroom.
