This rich warm peanut sauce pairs perfectly with turkey and peppers on Dempster's bread
|2||slices of Dempster's Bread|
|1/4 cup||smooth peanut butter|
|1 tbsp||lite soy sauce|
|1 tsp||brown sugar|
|1/4 tsp||minced ginger|
|2 tbsp||warm water|
|1 tsp||sesame oil|
|1/2 cup||sliced leftover turkey|
|1/2||red bell pepper|
In a small microwavable bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, water, and oil.
Toast two slices of bread.
Slice red bell pepper into think slices.
In a microwave safe dish, heat turkey for 30-40 seconds on high.
Heat bowl of peanut sauce in the microwave for 30-40 seconds on medium, stirring once halfway through.
Top one slice of toasted bread with turkey, followed by peanut sauce, followed by pepper. Top with the second slice of bread.
Serve sandwich warm.
