About this Recipe

This Tasty Tuscan Griller combines a number of flavourful ingredients such as, Olivieri® Basil Pesto, creamy Provolone cheese and fresh Roma tomatoes.


2 Slices DEMPSTER’S® WholeGrains™ Multigrain bread or BON MATIN® Multigrain bread
30 ml OLIVIERI® Basil Pesto
60 g MAPLE LEAF Prime® Fully Cooked Turkey Breast Strips
30 g MAPLE LEAF Salami
30 g Light Provolone cheese
1 Roma tomato, sliced
50 ml Thinly sliced red or yellow bell peppers
5 Green olives, sliced
4 to 6, Fresh basil leaves
15 ml Balsamic dressing


SPREAD pesto on both slices of bread.

LAYER on turkey, salami, cheese, tomato, peppers, olives and basil. TOP with dressing and second slice of bread.

BUTTER the outside of the bread slices lightly and either:

1. PAN fry in a non stock pan on medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side by turning with a spatula, until golden brown.


2. PLACE into a panini press (George Foreman grill) for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
