This Tasty Tuscan Griller combines a number of flavourful ingredients such as, Olivieri® Basil Pesto, creamy Provolone cheese and fresh Roma tomatoes.
|2||Slices DEMPSTER’S® WholeGrains™ Multigrain bread or BON MATIN® Multigrain bread|
|30 ml||OLIVIERI® Basil Pesto|
|60 g||MAPLE LEAF Prime® Fully Cooked Turkey Breast Strips|
|30 g||MAPLE LEAF Salami|
|30 g||Light Provolone cheese|
|1||Roma tomato, sliced|
|50 ml||Thinly sliced red or yellow bell peppers|
|5||Green olives, sliced|
|4||to 6, Fresh basil leaves|
|15 ml||Balsamic dressing|
SPREAD pesto on both slices of bread.
LAYER on turkey, salami, cheese, tomato, peppers, olives and basil. TOP with dressing and second slice of bread.
BUTTER the outside of the bread slices lightly and either:
1. PAN fry in a non stock pan on medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side by turning with a spatula, until golden brown.
2. PLACE into a panini press (George Foreman grill) for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
