Spicy tandoori chicken breast grilled to perfection is a healthy alternative to beef burgers.
|1||Package Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Thin Sliced Chicken Breasts|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Tandoori curry paste|
|1||Small onion, grated|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Freshly grated ginger|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Olive oil|
|Salt and pepper|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Mayonnaise|
|4||Dempster’s® Original Hamburger Buns|
|1 cup||(250 mL) Salad greens|
PLACE chicken in a large re-sealable plastic bag.
MIX together tandoori curry paste, onion, ginger and olive oil. Pour over chicken, seal bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
PREHEAT BBQ to medium-high.
GREASE grill and cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side or until chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
SPREAD mayonnaise evenly over bottom half of buns. Top each with salad greens, a tomato slice, chicken and top half of bun. Serve warm.
