Spicy ground meat with fresh tomato, pepper and onion, some grated cheddar, sweet Russian dressing and the crunch of tortilla chips. Toss with leaf lettuce, roll in a tortilla and you have a wrap!


1 lb (454 g) Ground beef or turkey
1 Package taco seasoning
3 cups (975 mL) Roughly chopped leaf lettuce
1 cup (250 mL) Cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup (250 mL) Diced yellow pepper
1 cup (250 mL) Thinly sliced red onion
1 cup (250 mL) Grated Cheddar cheese
1/3 cup (80 mL) Russian salad dressing
Tortilla chips, crumbled (optional)
4 Dempster’s® Original Large Tortillas


COOK beef in a large skillet over medium-high, breaking apart with the back of a wooden spoon for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Drain off any excess fat and stir in taco seasoning. Cook for 1-2 minutes more and remove from heat to cool to room temperature.

TOSS all of the ingredients except the tortillas. Assemble the wraps by filling each with taco salad and rolling tightly. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
