Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Butterflied Chicken Breasts marinated in a light honey orange dressing, served on a bed of cooked rice and drizzled with Olivieri® Peppercorn Sauce.
|2 tsp||(10 mL) Vegetable oil|
|1||Package MAPLE LEAF Prime Naturally® Butterflied Chicken Breasts|
|¼ cup||(50 mL) Honey|
|1/3 cup||(75 mL) Orange Juice|
|1||(200 mL) Package Olivieri® Peppercorn Sauce|
HEAT oil in large fry pan on medium heat; add chicken and cook for 1 minute on each side. Add honey and juice and cook, turning chicken frequently, for approximately 6 minutes or until minimum internal temperature of chicken reaches 170ºF (77ºC) and juice has reduced slightly.
ADD peppercorn sauce and heat for 2 minutes or until sauce is hot.
GARNISH with cilantro before serving. Serving Suggestion - Serve over a bed of cooked rice
