This authentic Italian focaccia recipe is truly delizioso! Simply combine sautéed vegetables, Olivieri® Sundried Tomato Pesto and Maple Leaf Prime® Chicken Breast Strips to create this superb sandwich.
|15 ml||Olive oil|
|1||Green pepper, cut into thin strips or cubes|
|30 g||Red pepper, cut into thin strips or cubes|
|30 g||Red onions, thin strips|
|150 g||Package MAPLE LEAF Prime® Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Strips|
|45 ml||OLIVIERI® Sundried Tomato Pesto|
|1||Focaccia loaf, toasted and cut lengthwise|
|3||to 4, Slices jalapeno pepper havarti|
HEAT oil and sauté vegetables until slightly soft, about 3-5 minutes. Add chicken breast strips and continue sautéing for 3 minutes.
SPREAD sundried tomato pesto on the bottom half of the Focaccia.
TOP with chicken mixture, cheese and remaining half of foccacia. Cut into 4 equal portions and enjoy.
