About this Recipe

 This authentic Italian focaccia recipe is truly delizioso! Simply combine sautéed vegetables, Olivieri® Sundried Tomato Pesto and Maple Leaf Prime® Chicken Breast Strips to create this superb sandwich.


15 ml Olive oil
1 Green pepper, cut into thin strips or cubes
30 g Red pepper, cut into thin strips or cubes
30 g Red onions, thin strips
150 g Package MAPLE LEAF Prime® Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Strips
45 ml OLIVIERI® Sundried Tomato Pesto
1 Focaccia loaf, toasted and cut lengthwise
3 to 4, Slices jalapeno pepper havarti


HEAT oil and sauté vegetables until slightly soft, about 3-5 minutes. Add chicken breast strips and continue sautéing for 3 minutes.

SPREAD sundried tomato pesto on the bottom half of the Focaccia.

TOP with chicken mixture, cheese and remaining half of foccacia. Cut into 4 equal portions and enjoy.
