|1 lb||(450 g) Fettuccine pasta|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Olive or vegetable oil|
|1||Clove garlic, minced|
|1||(175 g) Package Schneiders® Country Naturals® Summer Sausage|
|1||Green pepper, chopped|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Ready prepared marinara sauce|
|Salt and pepper|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)|
COOK pasta according to package directions.
HEAT oil in a large skillet. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until soft and fragrant. Add sausage and green peppers; continue to cook for 2-3 minutes or until sausage begins to brown. Add marinara sauce and heat for another 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
