1 lb (450 g) Fettuccine pasta
2 tbsp (30 mL) Olive or vegetable oil
1 Clove garlic, minced
1 (175 g) Package Schneiders® Country Naturals® Summer Sausage
1 Green pepper, chopped
2 cups (500 mL) Ready prepared marinara sauce
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup (60 mL) Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


COOK pasta according to package directions.

HEAT oil in a large skillet. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until soft and fragrant. Add sausage and green peppers; continue to cook for 2-3 minutes or until sausage begins to brown. Add marinara sauce and heat for another 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
