|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Chicken Breast Fillets|
|10||Slices Maple Leaf® Bacon|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Chili powder|
|2/3 cup||(225 mL) Brown sugar|
|10||Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 20 minutes|
PREHEAT oven to 350°F (180°C).
THREAD a chicken fillet onto each wooden skewer. Wrap with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
MIX chili powder and brown sugar. Rub each skewer with the mixture and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
BAKE in preheated oven for 12 minutes. Turn chicken over and continue to bake for another 12 minutes or until bacon is crisp and the internal temperature of the chicken has reached 165°F (74°C). Stack on a platter and serve hot.
