This is a quick and easy stuffed chicken recipe, that is always a touch down at my home.
|1 Pkg||4 Maple Leaf Prime Naturally Portions Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts|
|1 can||Wild Mushroom Soup|
|1.5 cups||Uncooked instant rice|
|1.5 cups||Broccoli florets|
|4||Slices of cooked ham|
|1 cup||Thin sliced marble cheese|
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
Wash and cut broccoli florets, cook for 1 min. high in the micowave
Mix uncooked rice, heated Broccoli in bowl
Mix soup with milk and water in small bowl
Add ¼ of the soup mixture to the rice and broccoli and stir
Slice open chicken breasts down one side ¾ of the way through
Place chicken in small baking dish
Put one slice of ham in each breast.
Two or three thin slices of cheese in each breast
Stuff chicken with rice mixture
Pull top of breast over to cover the mixture and secure with two toothpicks
Pour soup mixture over chicken
Sprinkle on parsley
Bake in oven one hour uncovered, middle rack
Serve with your favourite side dishes for a winning meal.
