1 Loaf egg or cheese bread, unsliced
5 Thin slices Provolone or Havarti cheese
1/4 cup cup (60 mL) Ready prepared pesto
1/4 cup (60 mL) Marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 (375 g) Package Maple Leaf® Ezee Sub® Hero


CUT bread in half horizontally with ⅔ on the bottom and ⅓ on the top. Hollow out the top and bottom leaving a ½” -¾” (1-2 cm) shell. Place half of the cheese inside the bottom shell. Add half the pesto on top of the cheese. Sprinkle with artichokes heart then the meat slices. Top with the remaining cheese and pesto and the top of the bread.

PRESS down firmly on the loaf and wrap tightly with plastic wrap or foil. Refrigerate for one hour or overnight.

CUT bread in 4-6 slices across the loaf to serve.
