1 (454 g) Package Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Extra Lean Ground Turkey
3 tbsp (45 mL) Grated red onion
2 Cloves garlic
1 Egg yolk
¼ cup (60 mL) Bread crumbs
1 tsp (5 mL) Cajun seasoning
(4 oz) Blue or Feta cheese, cut into ½” (1 cm) cubes
2 tbsp (30 mL) Butter
1 cup (250 mL) Buffalo wing sauce


PREHEAT oven to 400°F (200°C).

COMBINE turkey, onion, garlic, egg yolk, breadcrumbs and Cajun seasoning in a medium bowl until just combined. With slightly moist hands, roll meat mixture into 16 meatballs of equal size. Press a cube of cheese into the center of each meatball and form the ball around the cheese.

ARRANGE the meatballs on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes or until cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

MEANWHILE melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add wing sauce and stir to combine. Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and stir gently to coat. Serve hot.


Serve with carrots and celery.
