When you feel like treating yourself, whip out this recipe! The perfect lazy summer day treat has finally arrived.

Ingredients

1 Pkg Tenderflake® Patty Shells, thawed overnight in the refrigerator
4 cups (1 L) Sliced strawberries⅔ cup (150 mL
Sugar, divided
1/2 cups (375 mL) Whipping cream
1/2 tsp (2 mL) Vanilla
Fresh mint sprigs

Directions

BAKE patty shells according to package directions, removing the centers as directed.

TOSS strawberries with ½ cup (125 mL) sugar, set aside. Whip cream with remaining sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.

SPOON strawberries into cooled patty shells, top with whipped cream and a sprig of fresh mint.

Notes

Drizzle the strawberries with a little Grand Marnier before assembling for a more adult flavour.
