When you feel like treating yourself, whip out this recipe! The perfect lazy summer day treat has finally arrived.
|1 Pkg||Tenderflake® Patty Shells, thawed overnight in the refrigerator|
|4 cups||(1 L) Sliced strawberries⅔ cup (150 mL|
|1/2 cups||(375 mL) Whipping cream|
|1/2 tsp||(2 mL) Vanilla|
|Fresh mint sprigs|
BAKE patty shells according to package directions, removing the centers as directed.
TOSS strawberries with ½ cup (125 mL) sugar, set aside. Whip cream with remaining sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
SPOON strawberries into cooled patty shells, top with whipped cream and a sprig of fresh mint.
Drizzle the strawberries with a little Grand Marnier before assembling for a more adult flavour.
