Hot flaky Ham, Cheddar and Spinach Pinwheels will delight your Holiday guests. These are tasty, salty and crunchy, easy to make and you can make them ahead then slice and bake for a less fuss and more cheer Holiday!
|1 Pkg||refrigerator defrosted puff pastry|
|3 tbsp||flour for rolling the pastry|
|4||thin slices Honey Smoked Ham, Maple Leaf|
|1/3 cup||store bought spinach dip|
|3/4 cup||shredded sharp cheddar|
|1/4 cup||minced red pepper|
Roll out puff pastry between 2 sheets of parchment paper using flour to approx. 12"x8". Peel back parchment every few rolls then flip pkg and repeat. This allows the dough to stretch quickly without warming it.
Place in fridge until ready.
Mix peppers into spinach dip. Spread over dough to within 1" from all edges.
Place ham slices across dough towards the bottom edge closest to you.
Sprinkle with cheddar.
From the length , begin to roll up tightly from edge closest to you
Using one of the parchment sheets roll tightly and freeze for 1 1/2 hrs. or up to 1 month.
Slice into 1/2" slices and place on parchment lined baking sheet with unfinished edge facing another end, 1/2" apart.
Bake in a preheated 375F for 30-40 min or until browned all over.
