Preheat BBQ to 375 – 400 degrees.
On a flat surface, slowly push the skewer through the center of the hot dog.
Using a small paring knife start by place the blade of on the skewer, just above the top of the hot dog. Begin by making an angled cut all the way through to the skewer. Continue down the length of the hot dog, turning the dog as you go, cutting to the skewer.
Place the spiral hot dogs on the BBQ and cook until they become caramelized and slightly crispy. Once cooked, carefully remove the hotdogs from the skewers and place in buns.
Serve with condiments. Enjoy!
