This ham glaze is fabulous and so simple, you will never go back to your regular ham recipe.
|1||Maple Leaf® Spiral Ham|
|1 cup||(250 mL) brown butter|
|2 cups||(500 mL) peach nectar|
|2||peaches, pit removed|
PREHEAT oven to 325 degrees.
PLACE ham into a large roasting pan face down.
POUR peach nectar over top.
PLACE halved peaches face down into liquid.
COVER with foil and roast 30 to 35 minutes per kg.
AT LAST half hour of cooking remove foil and pour brown butter over top and baste every 10 minutes.
REMOVE ham to a platter and put roasting pan on stove top and bring pan juices to a boil.
ADD thyme. Allow to reduce for about 5 minutes.
SERVE sauce alongside ham.
Serve with roasted potatoes
