|1||Package Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Extra Lean Ground Chicken|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Panko breadcrumbs|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Grated fresh ginger|
|.5 tsp||(2 mL) Ground white pepper|
|2 tsp||(10 mL) Hot chili sauce|
|1||Clove garlic, minced|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Lemon juice|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Lemon zest|
|1||Green onion, minced|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Chopped cilantro|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Vegetable oil|
COMBINE chicken, breadcrumbs, ginger, white pepper, hot chili sauce, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, green onion and cilantro in a large bowl. Gently mix together using your hands. Divide into nine even slider patties. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
HEAT oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add meat patties and cook for 5 minutes on each side or until an internal temperature of 185°F (85°C) has been reached.
TOP with your favourite toppings and serve.
