Toasted Depsters Whole Grain Bread slathered with garlic butter.
Filled with leftover turkey breast, roasted peppers, cheese smothered kale topped with spicy salami and sundried tomato spread! Your family will love this sandwich anytime of the day. It only takes minutes to make!
2 | Slices Dempsters bread, your choice |
2 tbsp | garlic butter spread |
1 tbsp | sundried tomato spread |
2 | slices processed cheese |
3 | slices of hot salami |
1 tbsp | chopped onion |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
1/4 cup | fresh or frozen kale |
1 | pinch of salt |
100 g | sliced leftover cooked Turkey |
2 tbsp | drained roasted red pepper, chopped |
Place 1 tbsp. of garlic butter in a pan. Turn the stove on to med. Spread sundried tomato on the slice of bread. Place the slice of bread spread up onto skillet.
Meanwhile in another small preheated skillet add oil add onion cook for 1 min. on med high heat, stirring to cook. Add kale and continue cooking for 3 min until softened and liquid has evaporated.
Layer the turkey over the spread, then distribute red pepper over the turkey.
Break the remaining cheese over the kale to begin to melt it.
Scoop up some of the kale and place on top of sandwich.
Spread remaining garlic butter on 2nd slice of bread. Top sandwich.
Using a spatula flip the sandwich and cook garlic side down until golden and crisp.
