Control the heat in this recipe by adding more or less slice peppers and choosing a mild to spicy chili as a topping.
|1 Pkg||White Sausage Buns (6)|
|2 cups||(500 mL) prepared chili|
|1||600g Maple Leaf® Sausage Meat|
|1 1/4 cups||(300 mL) shredded cheddar cheese|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) sliced pickled banana peppers|
Heat chili according to package directions. Meanwhile, grill sausages according to package directions.
Assemble sausages in buns with chili, cheese and peppers.
If serving for less people, divide accordingly.
Substitute banana peppers with pickled or fresh jalapeno slices.
