8 Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Chicken Thighs, scored
1/2 cup (125 mL) Dark rum
1/4 cup (60 mL) Honey
1/4 cup (60 mL) Orange juice
1 tbsp (15 mL) Chili flakes
2 tsp (10 mL) Ground cumin
2 tsp (10 mL) Paprika


PLACE the chicken in a re-sealable plastic freezer bag. Whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour the marinade over the chicken. Massage to coat, seal and refrigerate for at least an hour or up to overnight.

PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the chicken pieces, skin side up on the tray. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until brown and crispy and the internal temperature reaches 185°F (85°C).
