This meal idea is great with any simple or fancy side.
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Black pepper|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Smoked paprika|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Salt|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Brown sugar|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Garlic powder|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Onion powder|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Dry mustard powder Pinch of cayenne (optional)|
|1||Maple Leaf Prime® Pork Tenderloin|
MIX the first 8 ingredients together in a small bowl.
TRIM any excess fat or silver skin from the tenderloin. Rub 3 tbsp (45 mL) of the spice blend into the pork. Reserve the remaining rub for another use.
PREHEAT BBQ to medium-high. Lightly coat the grill with non-stick cooking spray. Place the pork on the hot grill and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning frequently until evenly char grilled and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C). Place pork on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Serve with your favourite fresh salad.
