Bring a little south to your holiday table as an alternative turkey breast recipe! Crispy and crunchy, this recipe will be a fast favorite.

Ingredients

4 Maple Leaf Prime Turkey cutlets
Salt
Pepper
1 cup flour
2 eggs, whisked
2 cups panko
1 lemon
Vegetable oil

Directions

Season cutlets with salt and pepper. Dredge each cutlet into flour followed by egg wash then panko. Press firmly to coat.

Using a deep skillet, pour oil about 2 inches in depth. Bring oil to a medium / high heat or using a thermometer to about 350 degrees. Working in batches, fry cutlets about 3 minutes per side and golden brown or an internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached. Remove onto a paper towel lined platter. Serve with lemon wedges and gravy.

Notes

Make the meal southern style by serving with creamed spinach and red skin mashed potatoes.
