Who knew? Grilled cheese and turkey, just as good cold as hot! Delicious lunch!
|2||Slices white or whole wheat sandwich bread|
|2||Slices Cheddar cheese|
|2||Slices Maple Leaf® Natural Selections® Oven-Roasted Turkey Breast|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Softened butter|
|1 cup||(250 mL) Tomato soup|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Grated cheese|
|1/4 cup||(250 mL) Animal cookies|
|1 cup||(250 mL) Grape juice|
ASSEMBLE grilled cheese by placing one slice of Cheddar cheese on one slice of bread. Top with the turkey and the other slice of cheese and remaining bread. Lightly butter the outside of the bread. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium and grill the sandwich for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden and crisp and the cheese has melted. Cool and pack into a lunch box with tomato soup garnished with grated cheese. Add an apple, a small container for animal cookies and a travel cup of grape juice.
