quick easy way to add flavor and texture to baked potatoes.


1 mediumn potatoe
2 stips of bacon
1 mediumn onion


peel your favorite, onion, red, yellow, then slice into thin slices. cut in half across the center of the onion slice.
Take a medium potato, slice in 1/4 inch increments- 2/3 to 3/4 of the way through the potato.
Take 1/2 slices of onion and place into each slice of the potatoe.
Cut one slice of bacon into small section and inset into each slice in potato.
With remaining slice of bacon wrap around potatoes - starting from one end and wrapping to other end, stretch the bacon as needed, complete coverage is not necessary.
wrap potato in tin foil and bake on barbeque for 3/4 of an hour on high, turning every 8 min. potato may be microwaved for 1-3 min to shorten time on the barbeque. cool potato before slicing, if microwaving.

result will be crispy bacon flavored baked potatoes.
