Make yourself this delicious smokey beef, coleslaw, and marble cheese sandwich on a Dempster’s® bun.
|2 tsp||(10 mL) Vegetable oil|
|.25||Small onion, finely sliced|
|.5||(375 g) Package Maple Leaf® Deli-Fresh™ Sirloin Roast Beef|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Barbecue sauce|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Prepared yellow mustard|
|1||Slice Marble cheese|
|.75||(175 mL) Prepared coleslaw mix|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Whipped salad dressing|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Apple cider vinegar|
|Salt and pepper|
|1||Dempster’s® Deluxe Sesame Seed Hamburger Bun, lightly toasted|
HEAT oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Add onion and sauté for 3-5 minutes or until soft. Add beef, barbecue sauce, and mustard. Toss to combine. Place cheese on top of beef mixture. Cover to allow cheese to melt, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and set aside, keeping warm.
COMBINE coleslaw mix, whipped salad dressing, cider vinegar, salt and pepper.
TRANSFER beef mixture to the bottom half of toasted bun. Top with coleslaw and top half of bun.
Serve with fries.
