These SMART Berry Muffins are simple to make and packed with goodness! They are the perfect way to start your day!
|10||Slices DEMPSTER’S®/ POM®/ BEN'S® Smart™ Bread|
|75 ml||Brown sugar|
|175 ml||Mixed fresh or frozen berries|
|30 ml||Pure maple syrup|
PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C). CUT bread into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes. Set aside. WHISK together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add cubed bread and toss gently to combine until egg mixture has been absorbed by bread. TOSS gently with berries and divide mixture into 12 paper-lined or well greased muffin cups. BAKE in the center of oven for 30 minutes or until puffed and golden and knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Drizzle with maple syrup. Let cool.
