You can add your choice of sides, it goes great with anything!


1 cup barbecue sauce
1 cup water
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp thyme
salt and pepper
2 lbs flank steak
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cheyanne pepper


First, mix the barbecue sauce, water and sugar in a slow cooker. Then roughly cut up the meat into large chunks. Season with salt and pepper. Mix all the spices in a small bowl and massage into the meat. Place the meat into the slow cooker as well and then cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or overnight. Enjoy with your choice of sides, and pour a little of the remain cooking sauce over the meat before serving.
