This recipe is so easy to make. A few minutes of prep time in the morning, a few minutes when you are ready to eat and dinner is served!
|2 lbs||(1 kg) Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Chicken Thighs|
|1||(35 g) Package ready prepared taco seasoning|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Chunky salsa|
Chopped green onion
Grated Cheddar cheese
PLACE chicken, taco seasoning and salsa in a slow cooker and stir to combine. Cook for 4-5 hours on high heat or 6-8 hours on low. Chicken will be very tender and falling apart.
SHRED chicken, using two forks. Heat taco shells according to package directions. Fill each taco with chicken mixture and top with your favourite toppings.
