1 Maple Leaf Prime® Pork Back Ribs
1/2 cup (125 mL) BBQ sauce
1/4 cup (60 mL) Hoisin sauce
1/2 cup (125 mL) Plum sauce
1/2 Onion, finely chopped
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup (60 mL) Honey
1/2 tsp (2 mL) Chinese 5 spice


REMOVE the membrane from the back of the ribs by pulling off from one end. Cut the ribs into 1 or 2 bone portions. Place the ribs in the slow cooker.

WHISK together the remaining ingredients and pour over the ribs. Toss to coat. Cover and cook for 3-4 hours on high heat or 6-8 hours on low. Meat should be very tender and pull away from the bone easily.
