About this Recipe

Home made croutons are light flavourful. They are a great accompaniment to a variety of soups and salads.

Ingredients

.5 cup (125 mL) California Goldminer® Sourdough Large Boule
.5 cup (125 mL) Olive oil
2 tsp (10 mL) Italian seasoning
.5 tsp (2 mL) Salt
.25 tsp (1 mL) Pepper

Directions

CUT the bread into bite-sized cubes. Place in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, seasoning, salt and pepper.

HEAT a large skillet oven medium-high. Add the bread cubes and cook, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
