About this Recipe

Flaked turkey salad and crisp veggies rolled up into easy to eat sandwiches. A perfect lunchbox solution.

Ingredients

1 (5.5 oz/156 g) Can Maple Leaf® Flakes of Turkey
1 tbsp (15 mL) Minced onion
2 tbsp to 3, (30-45 mL) Mayonnaise
Salt and pepper
6 Slices Dempster’s® Farmhouse™ Country White Bread, crusts removed
.5 Red pepper, julienned
.5 Yellow pepper, julienned
.25 English cucumber, seeded, julienned

Directions

MIX together turkey flakes, onion, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Set aside.

ROLL bread gently, using a rolling pin, to half its thickness. Divide turkey salad between bread slices and spread to cover each slice. Place a strip or two of each vegetable on the edge of each sandwich and roll tightly. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
