Flaked turkey salad and crisp veggies rolled up into easy to eat sandwiches. A perfect lunchbox solution.
|1||(5.5 oz/156 g) Can Maple Leaf® Flakes of Turkey|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Minced onion|
|2 tbsp||to 3, (30-45 mL) Mayonnaise|
|Salt and pepper|
|6||Slices Dempster’s® Farmhouse™ Country White Bread, crusts removed|
|.5||Red pepper, julienned|
|.5||Yellow pepper, julienned|
|.25||English cucumber, seeded, julienned|
MIX together turkey flakes, onion, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Set aside.
ROLL bread gently, using a rolling pin, to half its thickness. Divide turkey salad between bread slices and spread to cover each slice. Place a strip or two of each vegetable on the edge of each sandwich and roll tightly. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
