This traditional Greek dish is very easy to prepare and makes a fabulous presentation served in the original skillet.
|1||Loaf Olivieri® Garlic Bread|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) Olive oil|
|Pinch chili flakes|
|1 lb||(450 g) Jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined|
|1||(600 mL) Container Olivieri® Rosé Sauce|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Crumbled Feta cheese Chopped fresh oregano|
PREHEAT oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake garlic bread according to package directions.
HEAT olive oil in a medium cast iron or ovenproof skillet over medium-high. Add garlic and chillies and cook for 30 seconds; toss in shrimp and cook stirring for 1-2 minutes or until the shrimp are beginning to turn pink. Pour rosé sauce over the shrimp and stir to coat. Remove from heat and top with Feta cheese.
BAKE in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until shrimp are cooked through and cheese is beginning to melt. Sprinkle with oregano and serve with warm garlic bread.
Serving suggestions: Serve a Greek salad on the side.
