This easy recipe is sure to become a lunchbox favourite in no time.
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf® Natural Selections® Slow Roasted Shredded Chicken|
|5||mini pitas, cut in half|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) mayonnaise|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) lemon juice|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) red pepper, diced|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) celery, diced|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) green onion, chopped|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) chopped lettuce|
COMBINE chicken, mayonnaise, lemon juice, red pepper, celery and green onion in a large bowl.
STIR well to coat and season with salt and pepper.
DIVIDE and stuff lettuce into pita shell.
SPOON chicken salad into each. Enjoy.
