Sweet and savoury Sesame Grilled Chicken Tenders served with Asian-inspired Edamame Salad - a unique dinner dish that can be made in under thirty minutes!
|Sesame Grilled Chicken Tenders:|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Soy sauce|
|4 tbsp||(60 mL) Rice vinegar|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Sesame oil|
|2 tsp||(10 mL) Samba Oelek|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) Vegetable oil|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Sugar|
|1||Package Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Chicken Breast Fillets|
|Asian Edamame Salad:|
|1 lb||(500 g) Frozen edamame (soy beans)|
|1||Red pepper, sliced|
|1||Yellow pepper, sliced|
COMBINE first six ingredients. Place chicken in a re-sealable plastic bag and pour ? of the mixture over chicken to marinade. Seal bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
PREHEAT BBQ to medium-high. Coat grill with non-stick cooking spray.
COOK edamame according to package directions. Drain well and toss with peppers and onions. Drizzle with remaining marinade, toss to coat. The longer the salad sits, the better the flavour.
GRILL chicken tenders for 3-4 minutes per side until evenly char grilled and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Serve with edamame salad.
