About this Recipe

These are not hard to make but a little time consuming due to chilling times.

1 lb Maple Leaf sausage meat
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup fine Italian bread crumbs
2 tbsp Chili Sauce
6 hard cooked eggs
1 well beaten egg
1/2 tsp garlic salt

Combine sausage meat, chili sauce and Worcestershire sauce
On waxed paper, press meat mixture into 6 thin patties and chill two hours or more
Shell cooked eggs and return to fridge until ready to continue
Wrap meat mixture quickly around chilled eggs.
Roll eggs in flour (remove excess flour)
Roll in beaten egg and place on paper towel.
Roll eggs in bread crumbs. Chill again.
Deep-fry three at a time for approx 3 minutes per side and serve.

I work three eggs at a time keeping the others in the fridge. Chilling keeps the meat from falling off the egg.
