About this Recipe

Pickled herring is a popular delicacy served in Northern Europe along with potatoes, onions and sour cream. In this recipe we’ve wrapped it all up in a flour tortilla.


6 Small new potatoes
1.5 cups (375 mL) Drained pickled herring
1 cup (250 mL) Mixed greens
3 tbsp (45 mL) Minced red onion
2 tbsp (30 mL) Chopped fresh dill
.25 cup (60 mL) Sour cream
8 Dempster’s® Original Small Tortillas


COOK potatoes in salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes or until fork tender. Drain and cut into quarters.

DIVIDE pickled herring, greens, red onion, dill and sour cream between tortillas and roll into a wrap. Secure with toothpicks.
