This is now a regular request by my kids, I almost have them to the point where they can make them on their own!
|2 Pkg||Tenderflake Puff Pastry - Thawed|
|1 Pkg||Schneiders Mild Tuscan fresh Sausage|
|1||Egg - beaten|
|1 tbsp||Sesame Seeds (optional)|
Roll out entire package of puff pastry into a long rectangle. Squeeze the filling out of 2.5 sausages about 1 inch in from the edge along the long side of the rectangle. Roll the the pastry around the sausage meat forming a long tube.
Cut them into 1 inch slices and place separated on a baking sheet. Brush with a little egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Repeat with second package of puff pastry and remaining sausage
Bake at 400 F until golden brown and flaky (about 15-20 min)
