Easy to make gyro and delicious also


Sour Cream Sauce
1 cup sour cream (I used fat free)
1 tsp Powdered Garlic
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp dry parsley
1 tbsp dried dill
Freshly ground black pepper
1 package
Maple Leaf® Fully Cooked Sausage Links
6-8 Greek Pita Flat Bread
Romaine lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Red onion slices


How to make Sausage Gyros:Make sauce. In a small bowl combine all ingredients.
Refrigerate up to 1 day until ready to use


Split sausages in half and heat them on the stove. Then slice the sausage halves into 2 inch pieces.
Layer the sausage on the pita breads and top them with the lettuce, tomato, onion
and a spoonful of the sauce. Fold the pitas over the sausage slices and serve right
away, passing the remaining sauce alongside.
