Easy to make gyro and delicious also
|1 cup||sour cream (I used fat free)|
|1 tsp||Powdered Garlic|
|1 tbsp||fresh lemon juice|
|1 tbsp||extra virgin olive oil|
|1 tbsp||dry parsley|
|1 tbsp||dried dill|
|Freshly||ground black pepper|
|Maple||Leaf® Fully Cooked Sausage Links|
|6-8||Greek Pita Flat Bread|
How to make Sausage Gyros:Make sauce. In a small bowl combine all ingredients.
Refrigerate up to 1 day until ready to use
Split sausages in half and heat them on the stove. Then slice the sausage halves into 2 inch pieces.
Layer the sausage on the pita breads and top them with the lettuce, tomato, onion
and a spoonful of the sauce. Fold the pitas over the sausage slices and serve right
away, passing the remaining sauce alongside.
