This crisp and flavourful pizza is easy to do on the oven or BBQ


4 Schneiders Smoked Mild Italian Chicken Sausages
4 Whole Wheat Pita breads
3/4 cup basil pesto
1/2 cup goat cheese, crumbled
1 onion
2 tbsp olive oil


Preheat oven to 350
In a small frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Chop onion and add to the pan. Fry until onions are soft and brown, about 8min.
Spread pita breads on two cookie sheets. Do not open them, just lay them flat.
Top each pita bread with 2-3 tbsp. of pesto.
Slice the sausages into 1/4" thick slices.
Top the pizzas with equal amounts of sausage, fried onions, and goat cheese.
Bake for 10min


You can also do this on the BBQ. Place pizzas directly on rack, no more than 10minutes at medium heat.
